A retired English widower with a dry sense of humour and a fiery,
provocative Spanish girl almost forty years his junior are united in their
belief that an injustice is about to be done to a mutual acquaintance who has
become the principal suspect in a murder case. Both ignore overwhelming evidence in their conviction that such
a good man would be incapable of cold-blooded murder. They bring to their unlikely partnership an array of
complementary qualities which they fully employ in their search for the truth,
but the more they discover, the more certain their friend’s guilt appears.
Although this novel has not yet appeared in book form, I have decided to publish it here because of the time it has taken to satisfy the complex demands made by the publisher to prepare the script for printing. The copy that I have uploaded here is in PDF format, so the pages are not separated out. This doesn't matter when you are reading the story itself, but the title and the introductory pages appear to be jammed up together.
You are welcome to download or make a copy of No Safe Haven to read or lend to others provided that nobody makes financial gain because you have done this.
